PLEASANT Dale and Margie Barker announce the marriage of their daughter Maggie, to Kurt Quackenbush, son of Howard and Barbara Quackenbush, Payson, on Thursday, Aug. 3, 1995, in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant Sixth LDS Ward, 49 So. State. An open house will be held Friday, Aug. 4, at the Quackenbush Residence, 1720 W. 11600 So., Payson from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The bride is a graduate of North Sanpete High School. She also attended Snow College and plans to continue her education at Utah Valley State College. Grandparents are Gladys Barker, Nephi; Morris and Elaine Barker, Fountain Green; and Dolores Sartori, Taylorsville. The bridegroom is a graduate of Payson High School and served in the San Paulo, Brazil LDS Mission. He is currendy attending BYU. The couple plan to make their home in Provo. EPHRAI- M- The family of MaCoy and Doris Larsen announce the Golden Wedding anniversary of their parents. An open house will be held in their honor Saturday, Aug. 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ephraim Senior Citizens Center, 85 West 100 North. They were married July 27, 1945, during the waning days of World War II. They made their first home in Hayward, CA, while he was serving in the Navy SeeBees. Upon returning from the service in May of 1946, they resided in Moroni for several months before moving to the home in Ephraim where she was bom. They still reside in the same house. n livestock producer and MaCoy is a trucker, having established a trucking business soon after his return to Sanpete. Doris retired several years ago after working as a secretary to five Snow College presidents over a period of 30 plus years. The Larsens have two sons, Craig and Vance; 12 grandchildren; two One son is deceased. Active members in the LDS Church, they are currently ordinance workers in the Manti LDS Temple. The bride is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and has been attending Snow College. She is the granddaughter of Keith and Etta Smith, Thatcher, AZ; and the late Don Hansen; and the late Dorothy and Vem Hanson. The bridegroom attended Bingham High School and Snow College. They will make their home in Manti and continue their education at Sevier Valley Tech, Richfield, and Snow College.
