An active member of the Cattlemens Association, he was involved with local riding clubs. He served in many civic and church callings in both the ward and stake including bishop of the Wales Ward. He lived and worked Idaho until 1983, when the family moved to Castle Dale where he became of manager UP&Ls Castle Dale district. Pleasant, the oldest son of P.A. and Daisy Beal Willcox. He married Marian E. Hansen, June 4, 1947. She died April 9, 1991. He married Gracas Nascimento, Aug. 14, 1992, in Las Vegas, NV. He attended schools in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from North Sanpete High School. During World War II he served in the 204th Field Artillery Battalion, Battery A in England and Europe. He retired as manager from Safeway Stores after working for them over 20 years. He was a member of VFW Post 9276, Mt. Pleasant. Burt loved his family and enjoyed his friends Impact Board for replacement of two bridges over Pleasant Creek, one at 200 East and one at 300 East.
