A reception will honor the couple that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Manti Stake Center. The bride-to-b-e is a graduate of Manti High School and Manti LDS Seminary. She graduated from Snow College and the LDS Institute. The bridegroom is a graduate of North Sanpete High School .and LDS Seminary. He has attended Snow College. Ldf AM1P Region singles set August plans MANTI Manti education. After completing her studies, she taught schoolih Alta, Kane County, Centerfield, Fairview, and Copperton as well as in Colonial Juarez, Mexico. She moved to Tooele County in 1957 where she lived and taught at Dugway. In 1957 she moved to Tooele and taught school at the Harris Elementary and West Elementary schools until retiring in 1978. Since then, she has substituted in Tooeles various elementary schools and been a private tutor. On June 25, 1945, Mrs. Jacobs married, divorcing years later. She is the mother of four children, Leslie McLean Jacobs, of Merced, CA; Kathleen Hogan of Birmingham, MI; Sheila Roberts, of Teasant View; and Marilyn Jas person of Salt Lake City. She has 13 grandchildren, with one, Elder Chris Roberts serving an LDS mission in Okinawa. Mrs. Jacobs has a sister, Mrs. Golden (Esther) Durfey, of Bicknell, and a brother, Leslie C. Coombs of Camarillo, CA. She is a active member of the LDS church, serving in the Primary, Sunday School, and as ward chorister. Besides her love of teaching, she enjoys music. She sang in school and church choirs and was a member of the first a cappella choir at BYU in 1934-3During World War II, she sang with a girls trio that performed for a number of military camps in San Diego, CA. She has performed many solos in church and civic functions. Her hobbies include reading, crafts, and visiting, her children and grandchildren. 5. two-ye- ar facilities. Holly. , Holman , and,. Erika Frischnecht (Manti), Mika Inouye and Claudine Larsen (Gunnison), and Rachel Peterson (Richfield) auditioned for the workshop and were accepted. Holly, Erika and Mika were placed in level three; Claudine, level two; and Rachel, level one. Besides receiving instructions ballet, pointe, variations, character, jazz and modern dance, they attended concerts at the university and "Guys and Dolls" at Sundance theatre. They also spent a day at Seven Peaks along with many other activities. At the end of two weeks, a performance was presented by those attending the workshop. Parents and others attended. Claudine performed dances they learned and Rachel performed freestyle dancing. Level three performed selections they had learned during the workshop. Mika performed the Swan-hild- a variation from Coppelia; Holly, Auroras variation from Sleeping Beauty; and Erika, the Dawn variation from Coppelia. Among the things that could be accomplished by these shared responsibilities are the integration of rural health policy with rural economic development policy and decentralization of primary responsibility for solving rural health problems with the input and aid of the communities. The report encourages stressing the future of communications technology and awareness of new laws and regulations effecting rural health care and their impact on the communities. The task force will take lead responsibility in working with the public, private and education sectors to develop a implementation plan. This plan will include areas such as grant writjng, nursing shortages, loan repayment and scholarship programs for physician assistants wanting to practice in underserved rural areas and health facility licensure. They would also like to identify of gaps in the ten essential services not available within 40 minutes of rural health care Kjar, former bishop of the Mor--i oni First Ward and presently serving on the High Council. He teaches English at North Sanpete High School. The Merrill family of Chester will provide a program of music and dancing at a home evening held Monday, Aug. 9, 6:30 p.m. at Moroni City Park.
