The third rider to finish was Jacque Jewkes of Green River, Utah who had a riding time of five hours and 22 minutes. Tom Van Gelder of Grey Bull, Wyoming was the last rider coming in and arrived at 7:02 p.m. and took nine hours and 22 minutes to complete the trek. A banquet was served by local club members to those participating in the endurance race. The banquet was under the direction of Lois Bynum. Mrs. Christensen said Endurance!
