Show The Mt. Pleasant Pyramid Page Six FAIRVIEW KOLEEN PETERSON Mrs. June Jensen flew to San Francisco and was met by her daughter and family, Russel and Mary Vee Anderson and Nicole. While there she enjoyed many of the sites in the city including Fishermans Warf, Chinatown and the Golden Gate Park. They also visited the beautiful redwood forest. While there, little Nicole celebrated her birthday and was able to attend the 20th anniversary open house at Laurence Radiation Labortories where Russell is a Senior Technician. Each employee could have four guests. The Lab is under tight security and is only open two days every two years to employees families. It was exciting to see so much equipment and to learn about some of the things they were doing Mr. and Mrs. Mark Day of Salt Lake City and Russells mother, of Mrs. Phillip Anderson Ephraim drove to California to spend a few days and enjoy the open house at Lawrence in Radiation Labortories Mrs. Jensen Livermore. returned home with them. Mary Veen and her family send their best wishes to all. Manuel Moreno, Eustace Goodrich and Omer Rotherham visited briefly with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ramsey recently. The Californians all former coworkers of Earl were on their 427-378- 0 way to Wyoming hunt. for the deer Ila Jensen and Sarah Rigby accompanied Cleston Rigby to Provo last week to spend a few days. They were entertained at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Keith Rigby who were also entertaining their Fireside group Dr. Rigby showed slides of his work in geology. He is head of the Geology Department at BYU and has traveled to Antartic, Alaska and Canada. Later they visited with Mr. and Mrs Duane Jensen in Orem and then accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Victor Mathews to Salt Lake City. After visiting with the Mathews they spent the next week in Roy with Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Terry. Mrs. Terry is recovering from surgery but is now doing fine. The Terrys brought Mrs. Rigby and Mrs. Jensen home and were their dinner guests on Saturday. Other dinner guests included Larry and Ronnie Terry and Mrs. Glenda Staker of Mt. Pleasant and Mr. and Mrs. Therald Rigby of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Peterson Mr. and Mrs. Ross Shelley enjoyed spending two days traveling in Wyoming, and Idaho. Leaving Sunday afternoon they enjoyed dinner in Heber City and then traveled to Idaho Falls and then returned home on and Tuesday. George LAST State long Ramsey time friend of the family was a visitor a week ago Saturday in the Earl Ramsey home. He is a student at College of Southern Utah in Cedar City. Last week Earl spent one day in Cedar City visiting with him. DISTRICT 69 REPUBLICAN DUP will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the North Ward. Christensen drove to Provo, and went through a session in the Provo Temple. Mrs. Johnson stayed overnight with her sister, Rintha. On Wednesday the Christensens brought Mrs. Johnson home, and stayed with her here until Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. F.J. (Verl) Brady of Las Vegas, Nevada spent a day with her relatives here last week. They all met at the home of her father, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Hansen, so they could have a longer visit together. Most of us do not get to see Verl very often, but we are always glad to have her return home. Annette Brunger, Nanette Day, Christensen, Charise Howard and Lynn Larsen. Julie The Petersons Cousins Club was held last Monday afternoon in Spring City at the home of Ethel Sorensen Mrs. Sorensen and her mother, Lizzie Peterson, were hostesses. Enjoying the afternoon with them were Sarah Rigby, Elsie Christensen, Clista Peterson, Isabelle Lettie Peterson, Ellen Tucker, Araminta Clement and Ila ' Jensen.
