Show Funeral Is Held For Mrs. Larsen Funeral services fo'" Mrs. Kjersten M. Larsen, 76, active" , worker ' in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who died Sunday night after a brief illness were conducted at 2 p. m. Thursday in the West ward L. D. . chapel by Ray McKinnon, bishop. Burial was in the Moroni city cemetery under direction of the Ursenbach funeral home of Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Larsen was born in Denmark Den-mark Nov. 4, 1871 and came to Moroni in 1873 with her parents, Jens Peter and Mary A. D. Smyth Sorensen. She was married mar-ried in the Manti L. D. S. temple to Martinus Larsen Feb. 18, 1891. She served many years as a Relief society teacher. Surviving besides her husband, hus-band, are five sons and four daughters, James M. Larsen Salt Lake city; Edna Larsen, Mrs. Alice Faux, Kenneth, Dal-Ion Dal-Ion and Eldon Larsen, Moroni; Mrs. Dewey Christensen, Eph-raim; Eph-raim; Mrs. Vernon Oman, Castle Cas-tle Dale; and Grant O. Larsen. Spanish Fork; a brother, J. P. Sorensen, Moroni; 27 grandchildren grandchil-dren and nine great-grandchildren. |
