Show I FOUNTAIN GREEN f I By Special Correspondence I Couple Honored on Their Golden Wedding Anniversary The family of Mr. and Mrs. Antone Frandsen will honor them August 25th with a family dinner din-ner and open house from 3:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. Mr. and Mrs. Frandsen were born in Denmark, but came to this country with their parents when they were very young. Mr. Frandsen's parents settled in Moroni, Sanpete county, later moving to Idaho. Mrs. Frandsen's Frand-sen's parents, Mr. and rMs. N. P. Sorensen, made .their home in Fountain Green. Mr. and Mrs. Frandsen are both still active in civic and church organizations and are the parents of four living children, who will be present to honor them on this day. They are: Lester and Lloyd Frandsen, Ogden; Og-den; Vern Frandsen, North Ogden Og-den and Mrs. Janette Bigler of Fountain Green; several grandchildren grand-children and 3 great grandchildren. grandchil-dren. And to' you who came from far and near, to renew old acquaintenances, to visit your old home town, (your old home perhaps). To you who laid a-side a-side your very important work to fill your place in the parade, the program, the sports and enjoy en-joy another lamb sandwich, we thank you and greatly appreciate your efforts put forth to help us help you enjoy this, "Another Lamb Day." Coulsen Reunion Held at Fountain Green Due to a downpour of rain the Coulsen reunion scheduled at Nebo Conyon Aug. 14th was held at the Samuel Coulsen residence. However, a most enjoyable time was held feasting, sports and reminiscing were the day's enjoyment. en-joyment. Those present irom afar were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Coulsen and children of Hazelton, Idaho; Mrs. Victoria Coulsen and family of Washington County and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Holman and children of Ely, Nevada. Local Correlation Group Receives Individual Award Under the direction of the Correlation Cor-relation advisors special individ-uual individ-uual awards were presented to this group for outstanding work accomplished Tuesday, August 19th at a very splendid program at the City Park. Refreshments were served, and the remaining part of the evening was spent in dancing. Mrs. Florence Holman and daughter and son, Voin Holman and wife spent Lamb Day in Fountain Green and were the house guests of Mrs. Holman's mother, Mrs. Annie Jackson, also another daughter, Mrs. Urban Ur-ban Madsen and family of Ogden. Og-den. Mrs. H. E. Hansen and children of Provo visited for a few days in Fountain Green. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Anderson of Salt Lake City visited at the Odvin Rosquist home during the week. Mrs. Newel Nielson and daughter daugh-ter of Logan spent the week with i her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. I Hansen. ! Mrs. Lena Livingston has returned re-turned home from the L D S hospital much improved. Marriag Announced ; Mr. and Mrs. James Guymon of Salt Lake City, formerly of Fountain Green, have announced the marriage of their daughter, Hazel Guymon and Avon Park of Murray, Utah on July 12th in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Donna Ivory, a sister of the bride entertained at a shower in her honor Friday evening at her home in Fountain Green. Miss Shirley Rees of Wales, Utah was the guest of Miss Claudine Morgan during the week. Miss Vaunile Anderson is visiting vis-iting with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Frandsen in Ogden.
