Show Jones-Mcintosh The marriage of Miss Belva Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee E. Jones of Prescott, Arizona to Edwin J. Mcintosh, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Mcintosh of Mt. Pleasant was solemnized Sunday, Sun-day, Augst 6th at the home of the bride's parents. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. Green of Prescott in the presence of the immediate families and close friends of the young couple. The bride wore an afternoon dress of turquoise blue with a corsage of flame gladiolas and roses. Her bridesmaids were her sister Miss Jean Mcintosh of Mt. Pleasant and the groom's sister, Miss Leta Jones of Prescott. Their dresses were peach colored and blue with matching corsages. Earl Waller of Los Angeles was best man. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents honored tne young couple at a dinner for the bridal party. The bride is a graduate of Prescott Pres-cott high school. Mr. Mcintosh is a graduate of Wasatch Academy, Acade-my, and studied three years at Brigham Young university before be-fore leaving for service with Battery Bat-tery D, 222nd Field Artillery, U-tah U-tah National Guard in March, 1941. After a short honeymoon in Oak Creek Canyon,. Arizona, they will be at home at 620 East Sheldon Street, Prescott. Mrs. A. V. Mcintosh, mother of the groom, Jean Mcintosh and Mrs. Chariton Jacobs, sisters of the groom and Karen Jacobs, a niece spent the week-end in Prescott Pres-cott for the wedding. |
