Show WEDDING RECEPTION GIVEN JIHRiR! Mrs. H. C. Beaumann entertained at a reception and dancing party in Armory Hall last Monday oveuing in honor of her daughter Thelma whose marriage to Ralph P. Merz ot :his city, at Filmore on December 21 1 i 6 . has just been announced. The bride wore- a gown of apricot 'olored crepe and was attended by Miss Helen Jones and Miss El Rasmussen, Ras-mussen, who wore gowns in pastel shades of georgette and tafleta. All curried bouquets of piiiii rosebuds. The groom's best man was ". 1'- Hansen. Han-sen. In the receiving line were the brides mother, Mrs H. C. Beaumann, the grooms parents Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Merz, and Miss Florence Merz. Assist As-sist iiy; during the hours of the reception recep-tion were Miss Rhoda Ericksen, Miss Viola Phillips, Miss Edith Aldrich, Miss Louise Frandsen, and Miss Ev-lyn Ev-lyn Madsen. Tall vases and baskets of red roses, canterbury bells and daises were used in decorating the hall and music for dancing was furnished by a six piece orchestra- Nearly three hundred guests were in attendance. The bride, who is a falented musician, music-ian, has been a leader in the younger social set here. She is a graduate ot Wasatch Academy and a former student stud-ent of the University of Utah where she was a member of the ladies glee c 1 u b Duiriing the past week the bride has .been the honor puest at several parties. Thursday afternoon, Mrs. E. W. Wall entertained a: , a dinned for seven guests in her honor and Thursday evening Miss Edith Aldrich and Mass Helen Jones entertained for her at a shower at the Aldrich home. Miss Viola Phillips and Miss Rhoda Ericksen were hostesses at a linen showeir Friday afternoon at the home ot Miss Phillips and Sunday evening Miss El Rasmussen entertained at a dinner and line party at the Elite Theatre for fourteen guests in honor of file bridal party. |
