Show Marriage Announced Mr. and Mrs. C. T. MarJsen announce an-nounce the marriage jf Uicir Lauginer Kllen Doitliy to Pharos L. Melsjiv sou of President and Airs. James L. Nielson of Fountain Or. en. 'lhe marriage was sjlem-luzed sjlem-luzed in the Salt Lake L. D. S. itmple on Wednesday, April 8. Immediately fallowing Uie ceremony cere-mony President and Mrs. Nielson were host and hustess at a wedd-mg wedd-mg breakfast at thj Hotel Utah fcr Uie bridal party which consisted of the bride and brlaegroora. Mrs. C. T. Madsen. Mrs. A. C. Madocn, Mrs. Nell M. Madsen and thj host and hostess. F.lday night at six o'clock a dinner was given in Fountain Green at Uie home of th? bridegrooms bride-grooms parents for members of the immediate families. Later In the evenir.K a dance was given in the Fountain Green Amusement Hall. On Saturday evening. April 11, a wedding supper was given at the h mo of the bride's parents in Mt. Pleasant for memers of the immediate families which was fol-owei fol-owei by a reception and dancing party in the Armcry Hall where about 250 guests were present. Tho bride was beautifully gowned in a peach colored chiffon model, which was trimmed in blue with matching accessories. Her bride's bouquet which she wore at her waist, consisted of brides roses. Illy cf the valley and butterfly sweet-peas. sweet-peas. Tho bride and bridegroom were assisted in receiving the guests by Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Mad-en Mad-en and President and Mrs. J. L. Nielson. Preceeding the dance a lovely program was enjoyed. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served at ten small tables In the far end of the room. A large wedding cake stood cn a lace covered table and on either end were pink trimmed tapers in crystal holders. The bride and bridegroom were presented with many useful and lovely gifts. Mrs. S. D. Longsdorf and Miss Margery Madsen presided at the gift tables. The bride is a graduate of Wasatch Was-atch Acadrmy and a former student stud-ent at B. Y. U. The bridegroom is a former student of B. Y. U. and U. 8. A. C. Mr. and Mrs. Neilson plan on making their heme in Fountain Gresi. |
