The Sanpete County Food Bank requested that all cities it serves to send a cash donation of 50 cents per capita. In Councilman Larsen asked the time line on the bridge closure by the post office. Mayor Christensen said it will be at least three years. Mayor Christensen reported that there are three bridges scheduled for repair beginning this summer. Dixie Brunger, city recorder, said that the city has tried to alter the priority of which bridges will be repaired but it is impossible. Mayor Christensen continued by saying that the bridge is not the problem, the ground holding the bridge up has become too saturated. Councilman Blackham asked if there was anything the city could do to fix it, since it is the busiest bridge in town. Mayor Christensen promised to investigate the situation. Mayor Christensen was able to tell the council and residents of the south side of town that the Department of Transportation has procured light poles and that it is a priority to get those lights up.
