A reception will be held in their honor in the Spring City LDS Church that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. The bride graduated from Spanish Fork High and LDS Seminary. She is currently attending Snow College, majoring in business education. The bridegroom graduated from North Sanpete High School and was valedictorian at his LDS Seminary graduation. He served an LDS mission in the Philippines Cabanatuan and is currently attending Snow College, majoring in elementary education. Grandparents of the bride are Tom and Ileena Davies, Spanish Fork, and Roy and Karyl Halla-daPleasant Grove. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Willard and Vida Sorensen, Spring City, and Roy and Verene Rostron, Spring City. The couple plan to make their home in - The MP seniors Museum of Church History and Art names Ephraim artist winner in competition SALT LAKE CIT- Y- The Museum of Church History and Art has named Ephraim artist, Kathleen Peterson, as one of the winners in its Fourth International Art Competition, "150 Years of Pioneering." Certificates and cash awards were presented during ceremonies at the Assembly Hall on Temple Square, March 21, to celebrate the sesquicentennial of the arrival of Mormon pioneers in the Salt Lake Valley in July, 1847. Petersons oil painting, titled "The Work of Righteousness Shall Be Peace," was among 37 total awards given. Her work, along with 14 others awarded Purchase Awards, will be added to the museums collection. An oil painting by Ron Richmond, of Mt. Pleasant, was also one of 150 entries selected for display from the nearly six hundred new works of art submitted by artists from 38 states and 31 countries. Elder John K. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Moroni LDS Stake Center. The bride graduated from North Sanpete High School and LDS Seminary. She is working in St. George and plans to attend Dixie College. The bridegroom graduated from Northwind High School, Fairbanks, AK. He served with the U.S. Army for four years. He is now with the Utah National Guard. He is currently attending the police academy in St. George, and is a fulltime student at Dixie College. The couple will make their home in St. George.
