Pleasant, to James Royden and Laur-ett- e Jeffs Monroe, but was raised by his stepmother, Essie Johnson, from the age of one. He married Lavon Violet Campbell July 1, 1938, in Ogden; she died Jan. 2, 1980. He married Bessie Rose Ann Renb-er- g June 16, 1982, in Farmington. He was a member of the LDS Church. He attended Wasatch Academy and Ogden city schools. He worked as a for HAFB, machinist retiring in 1977. Favorite pastimes were fishing, camping and hunting. Anderson March 20, 1953, in Fountain Green; the marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on Sept. 26, 1981. She attended school in and Green Fountain graduated from Moroni High School. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as Relief Society President and in many other positions. She was a leader for over 20 years and received recognition for her service.
