Show George W. Hug-gins Dies . In Fountain Green George W. Huggins, 65, pioneer farmer of Fountain Green, died Saturday afternoon after a long illness from heart trouble and complications. Mr. Huggins was born in Fountain Foun-tain Green October 23, 1866. His first wife, Mrs. Christena Hansen Huggins, died In 1916, and In 1922 he married Miss Hattie Lassen of Fairview. Their youngest daughter 3-year-old June Huggins, was burned to death in a barn last July, and last February their home was burned to the ground while Mr. Huggins was 111 In California. Cal-ifornia. He is survived by his widow and two children, June N. and E. Gale Huggins of Fountain Green; also by eight sons and daughters by his first marriage, State Sena-tord Sena-tord Ira A. Huggins, J. Oren and J. Oakley Huggins, Ogden; Mrs. Jennie Sandberg and Max Huggins. Hug-gins. Long Beach, California; Mrs. Florence Green and Mrs. Ray Bigler, Fountain Green; Mrs. Ar-villa Ar-villa Kendall, Nephi; six brothers and sisters, John E. Huggins, Riv-erton; Riv-erton; Joseph Huggins, Bear River Riv-er City; Mrs. Francis Orme and Mrs. Emma McPherson, Nephi; Mrs. Elva Green and Frank Huggins, Hug-gins, Fountain Green. Funeral services will be conducted conduc-ted in the L. D. S. chapel Tuesday Tues-day at 2 p. m., under the direction direc-tion of the Hansen mortuary. |
