Show Boon Monsen Dies of Heart Attack in Field i Boon Monsen, local farmer, dropped dead Monday afternoon from heart failure, while working in the fields west of this city. He complained of a severe pain in his side and was taken to a shady spot by two boys who were working with him. Upon sitting down he gasped twice and dropped drop-ped over. The boys ihought he. was cvercome by the heat but upon up-on the arrival of medical help he was found to be dead. Death had been instantaneous the physician said. Mr. Monsen had been In ill health the past five months. He was born on the Mons Monsen Mon-sen farm, now owned by A. F. Reynolds west of this city, December Dec-ember 24, 1384, a son of Mons and Mary Christiansen Jensen Monsen. He was educated in the public schools of this city and has been engaged in farming all of his life. He was married to Esther Monsen Mon-sen Anderson, July 6, 1928 at Manti. Surviving are his widow, and the following step-children: Mrs. Delia Taylor, Sacramento, California; Califor-nia; Elmo Anderson, Green River, Wyoming; Rex, Fanny, Keith and Dick Anderson, Mt. Pleasant; also al-so the following brothers and sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Andrew Johansen; Orson Or-son Monsen, Bonita, Utah; Ras-tus Ras-tus and Gibbs Monsen, Mrs. P. H. Cambron, Mt. Pleasant. |
