Show Local Carpenter Passes Away Henry J. Chrisensen Dies Following A Long Illness Henry J. Christensen, 67, carpenter, car-penter, died at the family home, 255 South Second East street, Tuesday night from heart disease. dis-ease. Mr. Christensen had been in failing health several years. He was born in Mt. Pleasant, June 5, 1876, a son of Jacob and Annie C Marberg Christensen. He was married October 1, 1913 in the Salt Lake L D S temple to Mary F. Jensen of Fountain Green. Mr. Christensen was an active worker and teacner in the L D S church and a member of the quorum of seventy. Survivingt are his widow and two sons, Glen J. Christensen of Nephi and Sergeant Dale H. Christensen, U. 3. Army, now en route home from Louisiana on furlough, and one grandchild; two brothers and six sisters, Mrs. Grace Thompson, Thomas M. Christensen and Mrs. William Shelley of Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Sarah C. Brady of Rigby, Idaho; Mrs. Mary C. Averett of Ogden; Hyrum Christensen of Los Angeles; An-geles; Mrs. Dorothy Wheelock of Mammoth, and Mrs. Marie Norman Nor-man of Fairview. Funeral services for Mr. Christensen Chris-tensen will be conducted Saturday Satur-day at 2 p. m. in the South L D S Ward chapel by J. Seymour Jensen, Jen-sen, bishop. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant City cemetery under direction direc-tion of Ursenbach funeral home. |
