Show Thomas Tbompson Funeral Held In Spring City Friday Funeral services were held in the Spring City ward chapel on Friday at, 1 p. m., with Bishop James F. Ellis presiding, for Thomas Thomp-sosn, Thomp-sosn, who lied here on Sept. 19. Music was furnished by the ward choir. A special selection was rendered rend-ered by Delilah Chri.stensen, accompanied accom-panied by Jane Thomas of Wales at the piano. Speakers were Jens J. Sorenson, the Rev. A. B. Huengardt of Provo, Ed. H. Hansen and Joseph G. Schofield. Scho-field. Bishop Ellis also made some remarks. Prayers were offered by Marinus Mortensen and John Peterson. Pet-erson. Interment was in the city cemetery. Mr. Thompson was born March 2, 1835, in Stanby, Denmark He came to this country with his parents as a child. Surviving him are the parents, Andrew and Sina Thompson, and the following brothers and sisters: James E. Thomptjon, -Andreas M., Fred and Tenus Thompson, Spring City; -J. C. Out of town people who came to attend the services beside the near relatives were Delbert Thompson of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Thompson , Joseph and Leland B -sen of Ephraim; Mrs. Sadie Irvin pnd Mrs. Christina Justesen of Chester. The funeral was directed by the Consolidated Furniture company's undertaking department. |
