Show Pfc. Don N. Brunside Is Reported Killed In Action Pfc. Don N. Burnside, paratrooper, para-trooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mason Ma-son N. Burnside, Mt. Pleasant, has been killed in action, his parents were informed last week. Serving in France, he was reported re-ported missing in action Aug. 20. He was born in Mt. Pleasant March 8, 1924, a son of Mason N. and Fannie Bills Burnside. A former student at Wasatch academy acad-emy and a graduate of North Sanpete high school, he was active ac-tive in athletics at both schools. A student at Brigham Young university when he entered the service, he trained in Georgia and North Carolina and was assigned overseas in April. Survivors include his parents; a brother, Pvt. Wesley M. Burnside, Burn-side, south Pacific; three sisters, Corp. Venna B.Bilick, Arlington, Va.; Helen and Joanne Burnside, and a grandmother, Mrs. Thomas J. Burnside, Mt. Pleasant. |
