Pioneer Marks 88 Birthday Mrs. Anne Marie Hansen celebrated cele-brated her eighty-eighth birthday anniversary at her home Wednesday. Wednes-day. he was born in Albeck, Denmark, Den-mark, in 1852, and emigrated to Utah with her parents in 1862, crossing the plains in the Madsen company. They made their home n Pleasant Grove for a year and hen moved to Moroni. Her parents were called to help settle Monroe, after which they moved to Salina, being driven from there to Moroni the next spring by indians. They moved lo Spring City in July, 1866, and have lived there since. She was married to Hemming Hansen, November 7, 1870, in the L. D. S. endowment house in Salt Lake City. He died in June, 1933. She is the mother of 11 children, child-ren, seven of whom are living: Edward Orson, Joseph F., Hyrum, Leroy and Orland Hansen of Spring City; Elnora Allred of Melba, Idaho, and Henry M. Madsen Mad-sen of Midvale, She has 52 grandchildren grand-children and 47 great grandchildren.
