Jensen, Jen-sen, widow on' the late F. C. Mrs. Jensen is a daughter of N. B. and Eliza Olsen Neilson, early Utah pioneers, and was 'Dora, here March 31, 1867, the second of their three daughters. She became one of the nine original students of Wasa-eh Academy founded in 1875, and she received her entire formal education of grade and high school work at Wasatch, supplemented sup-plemented with piano lessons' irom John Hasler, early Utah musician, ar.d daguerreotyppe painting from a French' pain.er. She i a as married in 1885 to F. C. Jensen and together tbey founded 'their home at 215 South First West on a site which has oeir.! con; inuously in the Jensen Jen-sen family since 1864. She is president of ;.he Consolidated Furniture Co., lue oldest business institution in this city, and of the Jensen-Gill Jensen-Gill Sheep Company, and has many banking and business in-vt-imenu. She has 'been a member of the Firs. Presbyterian Church almost al-most all her life, and has served many years on its board of trustees. She is a member of Ivy Chapter No. 10, O. E. S., the Wornar.'si LVIissior.ary Society, Twentieth Century Club, he Home Culture Club, and of Chapter A. of the P. E. O. of Salt Lake Ci;y. She has served many years on the women's board of Westminister College, Salt Lake City, and is s.iil sponsoring spon-soring the annual F. C. Jensen Literary Contest which her husband hus-band founded forty years ago. In later years, Mrs. Jensen r.as spent much time in travel and jus. bo. ore her husband's death in 1 925, tr-.y and .their etaagh.er Mrs. Gill spent some time in the land of their forefathers, fore-fathers, Der.i.r.urk, on their return re-turn ot a tour of the Holy Land and Continental Europe.
