Show Mrs. Elizabeth D. Larsen Celebrates 82nd Birthday Mrs. Elizabeth Davidson Larsen Lar-sen of Spring City celebrated her eighty-second birthday Sunday Sun-day at her home. Mrs. Larsen iwas born at Pleasant Grove August 24, 1859, a daughter of Hans Christian and Anna Maria Jensen Davidson. David-son. Her parents were bom in Denmark and lived in Pleasant Grove until sine was five years old. They moved to Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant in 1864. Her father was "the1 first printer in Mt. Pleasant. Her mother was a dentist and doctor in that locality in pioneer times. When 16 years of age, toe future fu-ture Mrs. Larsen shocked and bound grain in toe fields to ear.i her first pair of shoes. Sine tied old pieces of burlap to her feet While she iworked in the fields. She was married to Hans E. Larsen January 1, 1878, and since that time has resided in Spring City. For more than ten years she was president of toe Spring City Relief society, and she worked as a Sunday school teacher. Her husband died in 1904, leaving her a family to rear alone She has had eleven children chil-dren Two are living: Mrs. Rose S. Peterson ot." Spring City, and Mrs. Alligee L. Anderson of Moroni.
