Show Tha Birth Control Issue ! The question of birth c:nt-rcl i was faced by the House cf Bishop ; of the . Protestant Episcopal Church, which voted 44 to 38 in favor of efforts to obtain for physicians physi-cians and medical clinics the legal right to disseminate such information. informa-tion. Naturally, there is much difference differ-ence of opinion upon this hotly 'debated question and many good meni and women are unable to understand where it can possible do any good but quick to see where it can do harm. However, as Bishop Simeon Arthur Huston of Olympia, Wash., points out "morality based on fear of consa-suences consa-suences is hardly morality at all." In the meantime, whfle the debate de-bate goes on it might be well to call attention to the very obvious fact that birth-control is being widely practiced by a large portion of the population. Unless dissemination dissem-ination cf information is made legal very shortly there will be few people left to learn the mystery. |
