Show Mrs. Stena Anderson Allred Celebrates 92nd Birthday Mrs. Stena Anderson Allred celebrated her 92nd birthday Monday Feb. 18th at the ranch home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and-Mrs. Harry Hansen, Han-sen, Evanston, Wyoming. Mrs. Allred is the daughter of James and Margaret Anderson, born 1S54 at Tolstruk, Denmark. In 1857 her parents brought her to the United States. They joined Captain Christian Christenson's hand cart company in Iowa, and arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah Sept. 13, 1857. Mrs. Allred was married to Tillman Allred in the Endowment Endow-ment House at Salt Lake City Dec. 19, 1870. They lived in Spring City, where Mrs. Allred served in the Relief Society and was an early member of The Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She is the mother of nine children, six of whom are living. She has 29 living grand children, 52 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grand children. Attending the dinner were her children: Mr. Q. Allred and wife, of Clearfield; Elmira Aiken, Salt Lake City; Heber Allred, Roosevelt; Roose-velt; Cedena Cloward, Aurora. A son-in-law, F. C. Madsen of Spring City, and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Robinson, Hailey, Idaho; Mr. Kenneth Hansen, Han-sen, Evanston, and Mr. and Mrs. Galen Hansen and their children of Evanston. |
