Show early morgan county resident dies in ogden charlie wallace taggart aged 79 resident of richville for many years died last wednesday morning at the home of his daughter mrs H R J jones ln in ogden 0 g d e n he H e was w a s born bo r r i on 0 n march 19 19 1 1852 8 5 2 in 1 iowa ow a a s son 0 r x 0 of f george W and fanny parks taggart and was carried across the plains in his mothers arms reaching salt lake in september 1852 after his marriage to mary seaman beaman in the endowment house salt lake he moved to richville and lived there until the death of his wife in 1928 since that time he had made chis home with his daughter he I 1 was nas an active member of the L D S church chuoc 11 and at one time was a member of the bishopric of louth south weber stake surviving are five sons and five daughters mrs J Y bartow barlow american fork mrs R P jones wilson allson lane mrs W J bowman leon S taggart and jas per S aberdeen idaho gelo S taggart sterling idaho jerome S taggart melville idaho mrs J S hayes georgetown idaho mrs S samuel amuel mills bothwell and donald S taggart salt lake forty two grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive at 2 p m sunday services were held in the fourth ward chapel in ogden with bishop edward T ders conducting the invocation was given by fred taggart and the benediction by john taggart the speakers were W H dickson of morgan george A seaman of salt lake lak F W dark clark walter cottle and bishop saunders musical numbers were given by 11 guy child willi william S wright douglas and annie brian ethelyn carver and lavon stokes the tha prelude and postlude were given by mrs aaron sol gowiski gowiski interment was made in the oad ogden n e ity city cerne cemetery tery with bishop james H platt dedicating the grave 1 people from richville who at t tended the funeral in ogden are bishop rich and his councillors councel lors T emma rich charles and laura rich asa dickson clair and may rich fred and james taggart and rufus dickson |
