Show OBITUARY mrs gertrude K R hanson is at rest funeral services over the remains of mrs gei gertrude trude K R hanson were held in the Fillmore central school house last sunday afternoon the services were presided overby over by bp frank H partridge the ward choir rendered apar appropriate sin singing 9 ing nid ind music invocation on wits was offered by rider B F A Ra robison bison iader christian anderson was the he first speaker he had known the tho deceased and her family since 1862 when as emigrants from denmark they crossed s the atlantic ocean in the same german ship humbolt and also crossed the plains in the same company under captain john R mur mar dock of beaver had known her as a true and consistent latter day saint a dutiful duiff al and devoted wife a kind and lovin loving t mother honest and industrious elder joshua greenwood corroborated ro borated what had been said by the previous speaker with reference to the praiseworthy charac berof acer of the deceased an and d spoke of the beauty of such a life and exerted to emulate such examples pros francis lyman also spoke of his many years aduain tonce with the deceased and her family and her well spent life and exerted all to live pure honest and useful lives and set good examples for each other benediction was pronounced by elder lewis B smith mrs gertrude ras has mussen hanson was born in fyn ayn denmark NOV 8 1826 and was io christian hanson in avs 1 1 i 48 litif us blidt she wars WW W ta tolled 01 b ed rs au M 0 n cli lir in december 1859 and in 1862 the the che family emigrated to utah and arrived in fillmore in the fall of that year where the they y have resided ever since the husband died some years ago mrs irs hanson has always been known in this community as a very quiet patient and industrious woman during daring the last two years she has been confined to her to her house but not nofe bed fast until a few days before h her er demi demise ge which came as a welcome relief ln in the night of the lluch she is survived by her brother hans Easm her three sons hans C erasmus M and joseph H and a number of grand children and some great grand children all residing resi dins at fillmore and all pres er estat t at he her r f funeral |
