Scipio Scene Fillmore Highlights Deborah Flores, daughter of Helen Huntsman, and her three children all of Los Angeles, Cal. visited in the home of Blaine and Helen Huntsman over the Fourth of weekend, July arriving Friday, July 2, and returning to their home in Calif, on July 6. While here the family enjoyed many happy hours including a barbeque at the home of Clayton and Bonnie Huntsman. On July 5, the Anderson family reunion was held at the home of Lenore Anderson. A delightful luncheon and visiting was enjoyed. Mrs. Alma Anderson and her granddaughter, Gayle Ann Morris of SLC, spent a two week vacation in Hawaii. They left on a tour July 7 and returned July 20. Lenore said they had a wonderful time, especially enjoying a helicopter flight over the island of Lanai. They were the only two out of SS who took this particular trip and Lenore said she is so glad they didn't miss it, because the mountains and other island scenery was so beautiful. They took many pictures of the islands which they will enjoy this winter when the snow is falling down, and even perhaps for years to come when a little reminiscing is needed. Afton Stevens drove to Nephi on July 8 to visit her daughter and Helen and Carl Carter, and their four daughter. When Afton returned home she brought her two granddaugh' ters, Melanie and Corby, for a three day vacation. Their parents, Helen and Carl, and their two sisters, Jenefer and Katie, came to Fillmore on Sunday enjoying a few hours visit and one of Altons super Sunday dinners, and returned home with the children the same day. On July 4, Bill Davies, son of Clarence Davies, came to Fillmore to visit Clarence and to spend a little time working on the cabin at the ranch. Barry and Celia Monroe and family attended Celias family reunion at Cedar Mountain over the weekend. Garn and Myra Brown, SLC, some of their children and grandchildren have been staying at the Brown home. Bevan Johnson, Fillmore was guest speaker in Sacrament meeting Sun., July 11th. A baby boy was born July 1st to James and Celeste Lisonbee. Celestes mother, Mrs. Thompson, Florida is visiting with the family. Vicki Martin and Marlene Bemis were at the home of their parents, Marden and Claris Stone, for the weekend and to attend Rods and Kims wedding reception. Forty-twfamily members enjoyed dinner at the home of Udell and Peggy Sorenson July 4th. Family members were here to attend the blessing of their baby. Steve and Colleen Albrand and daughters, Ariz. visited friends and relatives. They came for their class reunion then went on to SLC where Steves mother, Jean Albrand, celebrated her 90th birthday July 10th. Peterson Recently CIo returned to Topeka, Kansas with her daughter, Venice, and husband, Don Clark. Her son, Kolon D., came from Hemet, Calif, and visited with his mother and sistef o Holden Happenings By Ella Crosland Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Stephenson had all their family home over the Fourth of July holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Gary Stephenson and four chidlren coming from and Duane and Kevin from Fillmore. A special occasion was attending Sacrament meeting when the infant son of Theron and Doriss was blessed and before they left for Kansas. Marcia Miller, Calif., recently visited with her parents, Klea and Harmon Memmott, and brother, Rick, and family, Klea and Harmon Memmott have a new baby granddaughter born to Dan and Tammy Memmott, Nephi. They have an older daughter, Robyn. Recent visitors at the home of Gaye Leavitt were Mr and Mrs. Thad Nebeker, Nephi and Mrs. Shirley Kreuger, Bountiful. Myrtle, Udell and Peggy Sorenson and family attended the wedding of granddaughter and niece, Connie Halcom, in West Valley Sat., July 10th. Chester and Esther Memmott attended the birthday party for aunt Jean Albrand, 90, in SLC July 10th. Harold and Nola Rushton, Nev. Don and Mae Atkins, Calif, have been visiting their brother, Leon, and wife, Venice Memmott, other relatives and friends. Nola and Mae were former residents of Scipio and enjoy coming back to visit. Betty Ann Wilding and daughter, Tammy, of Texas, visited a short time with her parents, Mark and Florence Robins. She came also to attend her class reunion. Tammy stayed for a longer visit in Scipio and in Magna with her grandmother and grandfather Wilding. Nord and Colleen Memmott recently enjoyed a family dinner and visiting with Nords family in Nephi. Julie will marry Michael Lasalle of San Francisco and will make their home in that city. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Huber and son, Wayne, of Mesa, Ariz. vacationed for several days with her mother, Faun-tell- a Robison, and brothers, Junior and Jarold Robison, and families. They came especially at this time to attend Trues 30th year class reunion of Millard High School, July Sth. Wayne will spend the summer here helping his uncles Jarold and Junior on the farm. Mr. and Mrs. Kit Robinson and five children came from their home in Kearns July 9 to visit with his parents, Grant and Arleen Robinson, and Bart. They returned to their home on Sunday in time to attend Sacrament meeting where their son, Brett, had an assignment to give a talk. The grandchildren really enjoy visiting grandpa and grandma. He graduated from Millard High so had many acquaintances there. On Sat.
