They had a good visit with their cousin and her husband and were treated to a nice dinner at a neighboring town. They visited the towns of Knoxville, Oskaloosa, Chariton and even some cemeteries getting some data on their genealogical families. On the I Ith of Sept. Margaret attended her High School class 52nd reunion. Of a class of 36, 5 attended and nine had died. The afternoon was spent reminiscing of old times and updating their lives to the present time. In the evening a dinner was served and more visiting. A group picture was taken and all left for home feeling it had been a marvelous day. A few more days were spent with their friends in Des Moines, then due to increasing stormy weather they started back to Utah. Ahlstrom also joined Keith and Nelda for her birthday dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Paxton spent a week in Salt Lake City with their son, Henry and family. They went to the Fair one day which they enjoyed. They also celebrated their birthdays while there in them. They thought Kanosh was a super, pretty, little, peaceful town, and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere here. On Sept. 26 a very special was Sacrament meeting presented by the primary. Her two sisters Florence Stephenson from Holden, Nina DeBoois, Provo, brother, Reed Wood and Thussa wife, Holden, Whatcott, Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Marell (Laura) Tischner, Orem, Joe Whitaker, SLC, Merlin Mrs. and Mr. (Georgia) Stevens, Fillmore, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Whitaker of SLC. Along with many other relatives, friends and neighbors from far and near, came to make this a special occasion. A lovely time was had by all. the city. Evaiyn and Ken Lawson were happy to visit Saturday with their son, Brent, his two children Corry and Lisa and Lisas friend, Anita Hunt. Wendy Thompson and Brian Sheldon of Las Vegas, Nev. were the weekend guests of the Carl Blad family . They enjoyed the country atmosphere here in Kanosh. Their mother, Mrs. Irene Anderson, daughters's, Phyllis and husband, Steven Loyd, and three children of Springville, Laura and her husband, Ken Marvin of Salt Lake City joined the family at Dixies where they helped the latter with some needed yard work at her new home. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bauer received a telephone call from Dolly's sister, Ollie McLaughlin of Pennsylvania, telling them their sisters, Mary Todds, husband, Jim, had passed away suddenly of a heart attack at their home in Lisbon, Ohio. They were guests over the weekend of Dean and Shirley. Julie Hurd and her friend, Michael Goodman, of Orem came to visit her grandmother, Ruth Allen, Sept. 26. They were returning from St. George where they had visited Michael's parents. Day Succumbs Gladys R. Day, age 86, died Sept. 22, 1982. She was born October 3, 1895, in Scipio to Leonard A. and Maria Nieison Robins. J. She married Lawrence She 1922. Frampton, divorced. She later married O.G. Day, 1935. He died. She was a school teacher for over 30 years in Fillmore and Scipio. She was member of the LDS Church. Survivors: Sons, Ladd R. Day, San Luis Obispo, Calif.; Ted D. Frampton, Hyrum, Utah; daughter, Marie F. Bushnell, Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters, Mattie R. Miner, Emma Jane Herbert, Alta R. Stewart, Leonard F. Robins, Con D. Robins, W. LeRoy Robins, and Clark (Tim) Robins.
