to try out for this position W hitney attended the four hour audition where she preformed a one minute routine took a technical skills test learned and preformed a dance with the other participants and finished with a personal ters lew Because of her “age and lack of experience" the directors did not give Whitney much encouragement They usually “don’t take first year applicants " So much to her surprise she received a letter of ceptance and congratulations ten days later Whitney will be teaching for UDA in the West and North West Regions of the United States this summer Other aw ards she has
