28 Salt Lake City was arrested at mp 163 by Trooper Mike Thomas Villagas was driving a black 1986 Pontiac when he was stopped for speeding 83 miles per hour in a 75 zone Thomas could smell the odor of alcohol detercoming from the inside the vehicle and located a open container of beer Thomas mined that Villagas was too impaired to drive Villagas also had a juvenile child with him A registration check of the vehicle showed that Villagas did not have insurance and that he still had the previous owners plates on the vehicle Villagas was transported to jail and charged into 4th District Court with Class A Misd DUI with a child Class B Misd no insurance Class B Misd open container Class C Misd previous owners plates and Class C Misd speeding Villagas was later seen by Judge Ron Hare for a bail hearing where Hare ordered Villagas released without posting a bail pending a court appearance on July 16th 6 40 p m Pedro Alejandro Cruz 34 Flowell was arrested in Flowell by Deputy Dale Josse The Sheriffs Office had been contacted by a subject stating that Cruz had violated his release agreement from a earlier arrest on domestic assault Josse then contacted Cruz and determined that he had indeed violated his agreement Cruz was transported to jail and charged into East Millard Justice Court with Class B Misd violating a court order Cruz was later seen by Judge Hare and pled guilty to the charge Hare sentenced Cruz to 10 days m jail 8 days stayed and 6 months probation 8 15 pm David Robles 3 Delta was arrested in Fillmore by Lt John Kimball and Det Roger Young Robles was allegedly involved in selling methamphetamme in our county At the time of his arrest Robles had suspected marijuana in his possession Robles was transported to jail where suspected cocaine was found on him Robles was charged into 4th District with distribution of methamphetamme in a drug free zone a st Degree Felony distribution of methamphetamme a 2nd Degree Felony 2 counts of possession of cocaine both 3rd Degree Felonies and possession of marijuana a Class B Misd 4th District Court Judge Lynn Davis set bail in the amount of 550000 cash A warrant was then received from 6th District Court in Sevier County in the amount of $30000 for drug charges INS has placed a detainer on Robles in the event he does post bail 8 15 pm Abraham Casas Ennques 34 Fillmore was rested along with Robles from above by Lt John Kimball and Det Roger Young Enriques was the driver of the vehicle that Robles was in Ennques did not have a dnvers license and had a open container of alcohol in the vehicle Deputies also located marijuana inside the vehicle It was later determined that Ennques had methamphetamme in his system Ennques was transported to jail and charged with possession of methamphetamme in a drug free zone a st Degree Felony DUI drugs a Class A M isd possession of marijuana a Class B Misd open container of alcohol A Class B Misd and no dnvers license on person a Class C Misd Bail was set at 52500 by Judge Hare but INS put a detainer on Ennques so he will not be released fromjail Thursday June 28th 2 00 p m Tern Mane Olsen 42 Mount Pleasant Ut was arrested at mp 154 by Trooper Gordon Mortcnsen Mortensen had been dispatched to a 1993 green Chevy Blazer that had unknown problems and was on the side of the road at mp 54 Mortensen found Olsen in the drivers seat of the vehicle There was vomit all over inside and the odor of alcohol There were also two young children in the vehicle Mortensen determined that Olsen too impaired to be in control of the vehicle and transported her to jail Olsen was charged into 4th District Court with Class A Misd DUI Olsen was later seen by Judge Hare and was ordered released without posting bail pending a court appearance on July 6th 8 Delta was Arrested in Delta by Deputy Mike 6 05 p m Everardo Turner Baylon was driving a 1983 Ford passenger car when he was stopped for speeding 70 miles per hour in a 55 zone A registration check showed that the previous owners plates were still on the vehicle and a license check showed that Baylon did not have a dnvers license Baylon was transported to jail and charged into West Millard Justice Court with Class C Misd improper registration Class C Misd speeding and Class C Misd no dnvers license Baylon later posted 5 165 in cash bail and was released pending a court appearance Friday Jane 29th 11 50 am Phougnuen Benjamin Chandara 18 Fillmore was arrested in Fillmore by Deputy Clete Carter Chandara had a active warrant in the amount of 5470 out of East Millard Justice Court for failing to appear on a previous charge Carter stopped Chandara who was dnving a tan 1991 Honda Accord and a license check showed that he had a suspended license Chandara was transported to jail on the warrant and charged into Fillmore City Justice Court with Gass B Misd dnving on suspension Chandara later posted a 5300 bond on the currant charge and a bond on the warrant and was released pending a future court appearance 715 p m Robert Carlton Darden JR 29 Albuquerque NM was arrested at mp 50 by deputy Loruen Lewis Darden was dnving a red 990 Acura Integra when he was stopped for speeding 92 miles per hour in a 75 zone While Darden was pulling over he al'egedly threw out a baggie of suspected marijuana Well the baggie just about landed on the patrol car Deputy Lewis was dnving Darden was transported to jail and charged into East Millard Justice Court with Class B Misd possession of marijuana and Class C Misd speeding Darden later posted a 5615 bond and was released pending a future court appearance 8 02 p m Jared Ralph Henderson 2 Delta showed up to do his jail time after Judge Haveron ordered him to do 5 weekend in the Millard County Jail Henderson was found guilty by Judge Haveron of probation violation Henderson was on probation for a previous alcohol charge Saturday June 30th 10 20 a m William Manuel Chable 25 Las Vegas NV was arrested at mp 181 by Trooper Mike Thomas Chable was dnving a white 1995 Isuzu Rodeo when he was stopped for a window tint violation Thomas could smell the odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle and later determined that Chable was too impaired to dnve Chable was transported to jail and charged into East Millard Justice Court with Class B Misd DUI and Class C Misd window tint Judge Hare later set bail at $1000 which Chable posted and was released pending a future court appearance 12 40 p m David William Brems 20 Orem UT was arrested on by Trooper Dean Shields Brems who was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation had 2 outstanding warrants from Provo District Court that totaled $718 Brems was transported to jail on the warrants where he posted cash bail and was released 57 pm Gary Michael Galvan 34 Mesquite NV was arrested at mp 156 by Reserve Deputy Nathan T ingey Galvan was dnving a 995 green Plymouth Voyager when he was stopped for speeding 93 miles per hour in a 75 zone A license check showed that Galvan had a suspended dnvers license because of a failure to appear warrant out of West Jordan Justice Court Galvan was transported to jail on the warrant and charged into East Millard Justice Court with Class B Misd dnving on suspension and Class C Misd speeding Galvan later posted a 5340 bond on the local charges and a 5225 bond on the warrant and was released pending a future court appearance Monday July 2nd 250 a m Brendon Ronald Myers 28 Delta and Ernest Brent Carpenter 23 Delta were arrested at 5 S Main in Delta by Deputy Mike Turner Turner made contact with Myers who had been driving a 1994 Chevy truck at a local business Turner could smell the odor of alcohol coming form Myers and determined that he was too impaired to drive Carpenter who was a passenger in the vehicle appeared to be very intoxicated and belligerent towards Turner Myers was transported to jail and charged into Delta City Justice Court with Class B Misd DUI Carpenter was transported to jail and charged into Delta City Justice Court with Class C Misd public intoxication Judge Hare later set bail at 51300 for Myers and $150 for Carpenter Both subjects have yet to post bail and will appear in Delta City Justice Court on July 1th EMS Fire and Accidents There were ambulance calls this week with West Millard responding to 6 East Millard responding to 4 and Scipio to There were 10 fire county this week with 2 of those being injury accidents Speed Eaforcemeat MCSO Deputies issued 106 citations on overtime speed enforcement shifts this week There were 2 citations for speeds of 00 miles per hour or faster including at 115 written by Det Roger Young Deputy Moms Burton came in a close 2nd with and Sgt Jeff Whatcott Deputy Loruen Lewis and Reserve Deputy Nathan at Tmgey all issued citations for speeds of 100 miles per hour or faster Moaday July 2nd 8 30 am Neil Hams Dillman 29 Salt Lake City was arrested at mp 169 by Trooper Mike Thomas Thomas stopped a 988 Chevy van for a traffic violation and the driver did not have a license Dillman am passenger told Thomas that he had a license and could drive A routine check of Dillman showed that he had 2 warrants out of the Salt Lake area Thomas then found a baggie of suspected marijuana that Dillman had in his possession Dillman was transported to jail or the warrants and charged into East Millard Justice Court with Class B Misd possession of marijuana Dillman later posted bonds on the warrants and on the local charge and was released pending a future court appearance Taesday July 3rd 6 20 a m Lisa Gay Damarto 33 Delta was arrested in Delta by Deputy Rhett Kimball 91 dispatch received a call about someone trying to break into an apartment Deputy Kimball amved at the residence and located Damarto who it is allegedly broke into this apartment and assaulted the subject living there with a weapon Kimball also found Damarto to be intoxicated Damarto was transported to jail and charged into 4th District Court with aggravated assault a 2nd Degree Felony attempted burglary a 3rd Degree Felony and intoxication a Gass C Misd Judge Eyre later set bail at $2500 w hich Damarto posted and was released pending a future court appearance Wednesday July 4 th 7 26 pzn Jeremy Jason Taylor 24 St George UT was arrested at the Millard County Fairgrounds by Reserve Deputy Nathan Tmgey Delta City Justice Court had issued a 51000 cash only warrant for Taylor for violating a court order Taylor was transported to jail on the warrant where he later posted bail and was released pending a future court appearance 8 27 p m Darren Rex Johnson 19 Delta was arrested in Delta by Deputy Mike T umer T umer was dispatched to the Delta City Park on a complaint of people drink mg beer and leaving their empty beer cans on the ground Turner observed Johnson try to hide suspected alcohol in the vehicle he was sitting in Turner located a case ofbeer in Johnson’s truck and drug paraphernalia It was also alleged that Johnson had supplied alcohol to a couple other subject there who were not of legal age Johnson was transported to jail and charged into 4th District Court with Class A Misd unlawful supplying of alcohol to a minor Class B Misd illegal possession of alcohol and Class B Misd possession of drug paraphernalia Judge Haveron set bail at 51 290 which Johnson later posted and was released pending a future court appearance Saturday July 7th 12 50 p m Juan Manuel Gardomo 2 20 both from Carlos Roberto Mexico and Ramon Ortega II 20 Las Vegas NV were arrested at mp 180 by Trooper Gordon Mortensen Sgt Scott Corry wearing his seat belt A license check showed that Jensen had a suspended dnvers license and a check of the vehicle showed that it was still registered to another subject and that Jensen did not have insurance Drug paraphernalia was also located inside the vehicle Jensen was transported to jail and charged into West Millard Justice Court with Class B Misd drug paraphernalia Class B Misd no George Stephen King 58 Taylorsville UT was arrested in Fillmore by Deputy Clete Carter Carter was on routine patrol when the vehicle King was driving a 1982 Datsun Sentra about hit Carter's patrol car Carter stopped King and determined that he was too impaired to dnve A license check also showed that King had a suspended license King was transported to jail and charged into Fillmore City Justice
