among us today determined hard working people the Hales Crafts amicks Dewsnups Christensens Sloans Pace and others In 1876 he and his family pioneered the small settlement of Lake Town L’t (12 miles east of Deseret) He was a sheep and cattle man farming a quarter section of land there In 1891 moved on into Deseret and prospered very well with his large family of 9 children with 1st wife and 15
