sweaty room filled with over thirty guys on diets about fifteen wrestlers continue the grueling practices because of freesty le Coach Tim Jones says freestyle wrestling is quite different from regular wrestling It has a more international style actually two— freestyle and Greco Roman— the same ones used at the Olympics He also says it is more an individual sport than regular high school wrestling Team scores are not counted A wrestler has to be better on his feet and on top If the wrestler on the top by dives not score after wrestlers some a while then are taken back to their feet moves that are penalized both Also in wres- tling are not in freesty le The season lasts about six weeks but can extend depending if the wrestler wants to attend more tournaments There are some regional tournaments and championships like nationals which Luke Lyman went to last year From old to adult are the ages found at freesty le tournaments Our two state champions have freesty led for the last few years "It makes a big difference" said Coach Jones about the efTect freestyle has on regular wrestling C HOLDEN The Movers and shakers in the pool's 50 mile club this week are Dorothy miles and
