Show Page S - Millard County (JSPS 1 bun March 3 1988 Is IN iMEiMOIIIAu SANDS APRTMENTS Mary Bassett UT Sheldon and Dorothy Callister from Ogden UT took Margaret to Calif for the wedding of their grandson Paul Wood and Nina Anderson in the Oakland Temple on Feb 12 Nina is from Norway and her parents Per S Anderson and Mrs Astrid Anderson came for the wedding It was a beautiful day A wedding lunchion in Stockton CA was enjoyed by a large group of relatives and a lovely reception was given in their honor that evening in San Andreas CA Margaret got to see the other grandchildren David and Wendy Wood and girls Katie and Leah Brad Wood and Becky and sons Bryce Travis and Austin and Jim and Kimberlee Libielt and girls Lindsay and Kelli and saw their new homes Marilyn and Woody have redecorated their home and it was good to see it and be with them Also Raymond and Jennie were there from Riverside CO so it was a wonderful day in every way! It made the long day going and returning seem worth it! They returned Saturday evening and brought Lathel home from the care Sheldon and Dorothy went back home to Ogden On Sunday Elizabeth and Tom Zaleski and family of five came to visit and assist their parents the Callisters and on Monday a granddaughter Daeleen and Scot Burrup and baby Lindsay visited from Provo UT Robert Callister and son Jason visited and helped over the weekend from Ogden UT Friday Feb Feb 20 Mary Bassett’s sons and daughter William Lynn Bassett of Fair Oaks CA his son William Mark Bassett who is attending BYU Provo Kay M Bassett of Spanish Fork and Elouise B Larson and husband LeRoy of Bountiful all drove down to the Sands Apts to celebrate with their mother Mary for her birthday They took us all out to the cafe for a wonderful dinner then came back to the apts for banana splits Then we went across the street to the care center to visit with our loved father William S Bassett We chatted and took pictures of the family Meeting at the apartment of Mary Bassett on Fri Feb 19 were the Ann E Melville Bishop Camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers Several members were present and one guest May Johnson from Lynndyl The lessons were reviewed by daughters Mary L Henrie and Louise H Lyman The family sketch was given by Melva Shields Ice cream and chocolate cookies were served to all daughters Louise Lisonbee and Mary present Bassett were the hostesses Mr Charlie Thomas and wife were sent congratulations on his birthday from Nancy Reagan and President Ronald Reagan for this special birthday of 92 on Jan 23 William Lynn Bassett has just been promoted from his Air Force Base in Calif to Hill Air Force Base in Ogden Hello Spring!
