City He was born September 16 1953 in Oklahoma to Charles Tahalequah Owen and Wilma June Howard Sloan He received his education in Utah schools and graduated from Orem High School in 1971 He worked at the IPP project near Delta for 2'i years He was a member of the 1st Southern Baptist Church at Delta Utah His interests included backpacking fishing hunting and sports He was engaged to be married to Frances A Marcus of West Valley City Utah He is survived by his mother and Mr and Mrs Farrell (June His father Sloan) Nance of Orem preceded him in death on March 23 1977 is also survived by his Easter trip Next day Saturday they enjoyed visiting and resting from the day before activities On Sunday the Duggers left to return to their home in Ogden Surely was a wonderful weekend for all March 29 was a very special evening for two sweet little girls and their families in the Flowell Ward Lynette Allen was baptized and confirmed a member of the LDS Church by her father Rex Allen Angela children Ben and Juliet enjoyed having their friends Eric and Pam Nelson of Sandy call in for a visit April 7 The from St Nelsons were returning where they had spent the George weekend They and the Jones’ were neighbors in Sandy Don and Ilena Tomkinson and son Rodney went to Hurricane the afternoon of April 4 They were guests of Connie their daughter and and Craig Stratton and two children Another daughter Laurel Wilson and her husband Douglas and little son Michael came from their home in Cedar City where Douglas attends SUSC Laurel also takes some classes there While Ilena taught some
