I nronuif-- rojjreM l - hurt Mat 2 Summer Home Econimics for fun and credit Delta High School and the Delta Middle School Home Summer Economics Program is beginning it’s registration and all students are eligible to enroll We hope that you will encourage your students to take advanto develop tage of this opportunity their skills and enjoy “hands on” projects at home One half credit in Home Economics will be given to each high school student that completes their projects during the course of the summer 80 hours of work must be done in one or more areas of Home Economics Middle School students will receive enrichment credit and must complete 40 hours of work during the summer The program will be held at the Della Middle School Students will be pected to come to the school a minimum of 10 hours during the summer Teachers will be in the school for special help and for students to use the school kitchens and sewing machines There will also be classes held in cookie cookie decorating counted and candy making flower arranging and outdoor cooking Two field trips are also planned-oto Oak City Canyon and one to Provo It is suggested that students sign up for the classes and field trips they wish to attend Those students who are employed in a home economics related occupation can receive credit for their time and growth The teacher will visit the student at home 3 tunes during the summer to check on their home project progress and give help where needed This program is an excellent opportunity for extended growth and learning along with some summer fun and excitement!
