when mixed in advance baked and frozen They can be removed from the freezer as needed for holiday desserts Meringue shells become light and luscious treats by baking for a long time in a low oven They provide an elegant base for fruits and fluffy mousse Select large fresh eggs for meringue Egg whites separate from yolks most easily when cold warm the egg whites to room temperature before beating in meringue mixture After baking place shells in freezer on a cookie sheet lined with plastic wrap until slightly frozen then transfer each to a pint size Ziploc® freezer bag Seal the bag without
