Lots of moms are doing it and they say they feel so much better and it’s a great way to start the day The pool is open every weekday morning from 6:00 to 10:00 am and by the way the pool is kept at a pleasant 86 degrees and there is a wall hair dryer in the ladies dressing room so no lady has to leave the pool with wet hair Twice a year the pool has a swimming pass sale right before summer and right before Christmas Well Christmas is just around the corner which means the passes will be on sale in November For 30 days beginning November you will be able to purchase a one year family swim pass for only $6000 a 20 percent savings over the regular price Connie Turner of Sutherland is admired by everyone at the pool She not only runs 26 mile marathons but she swims laps regularly at the pool Connie says her next goal is to enter triatholons which consists of the combinations of long distance bicycling swimming and running Good luck on you goal Connie The pool’s lifeguard contest results will be announced Thursday November All month the pool patrons have been voting for the lifeguard they feel is doing an excellent job The winning lifeguard will be the November Lifeguard of the Month plus heshe will be given a cash bonus During November along with the swim pass sale at the pool the pool will also be having a “What’s Your Guess?” Contest Each time a persons comes swimming heshe will be eligible to write down a guess on how many candies there are of each variety of candy in the large two gallon jar December the three winners with the 1st nearest guesses will be announced place winner wins all the candy plus a one year family swim pass 2nd place winner will receive a six month family swim pass and 3rd place winner will be given a one month family swim pass This contest will not only be fun but profitable to the winners The more you swim in November the more Aleta Boardman and Stacey Millard County Youth do well at State Horsemanship Contests 4-- H Recently eleven youth from Millard County participated in the State Horsemanship Contests in Nephi and did an outstanding job They competed with a total of 181 youth from the entire state of Utah Only the four top youth in each age group from a county were allowed to compete and so these youth represented the cream of the crop the best In Millard County the youth were selected on the basis of how well they had done in four horse shows demonstrations and participation and attendance in their individual clubs In the nine to eleven year old age group we were represented by Cadence Boardman the daughter of Mr and Mrs Gene Boardman of Hinckley Kristin Burns daughter of Mr and Mrs Ron Burns of Meadow Jamie Peterson the daughter of Mr and Mrs Mark Peterson of Hinckley and Tracee Johnson the daughter of Mr and Mrs Steve Johnson of Sutherland These youth did an outstanding job and walked away with a fistfull of blue ribbons Kristin Burns received a total of four blue ribbons which was the most blue ribbons received Tracee Johnson topped them all with first place in the state in Keyhole and Jami Peterson earned fourth in the Keyhold In light of the competition this is a truly outstanding showing for Millard County In the 12 to 14 year old age group we were represented by Shalmie Tracy the daughter of Mr and Mrs Jerry Tracy of Holden Aleta Boardman and Brenda Boardman the daughters of Mr and Mrs Gene Boardman of Hinthe ckley and Rachael Farnsworth daughter of Mr and Mrs Rick Farnsworth of Sutherland These youth came through with flying colors and really showed the state the high caliber of youth that we have in Millard County Rachael made an excellent showing and showed everyone how to run the Keyhole earning second place in the state in this age group Shalmie turned in an outstanding performance in Western Horsemanship and earned fourth place in the state in this group Three young ladies represented us in the 14 to 19 year old age group They Barbershop am 8 until 6 East North 1st Delta Ut s 20 OFF Sale custom made by I Phone are available fill all Temporary I your Job Openings Call or drop by 700 North Hwy 6 fHHHHHHHHHHHHk FACTORY TRAINED Take the guesswork out of engine repair with our new engine analyzer 24 HOUR TOWING RIDING FORD SALES 384 W Main Della 317tf Congratulations!
