and again will be taking an active part in the school tivities especially baseball in the spring he managers say that Rob is a very conscientious worker always striving to do his best whether it is at cleaning or teaching swimming Rob is a valuable employee at the pool and the management appreciate his good attitude and good work Another aqua aerobics class to begin 33 women were enrolled in the recent survey the top selling soup in American restaurants is vegetable soup There are some children who have taken swimming lessons this summer at the West Millard Community Swimming Pool who have not yet picked up their swimming class certificates Each child who takes summer swimming lessons receives a certificate at the end of the two week session whether heshe passes on to the next skill level These certificates let each child know exactly what heshe has accomplished in the two week swimming class The card is also nice to put in the child’s scrap book If your child has taken swimming lessons this summer but doesn’t have hisher swimming certificate come by the pool and ask a pool manager for it Session five of the pool’s summer “Learn to Swim” program is now underway which means that summer will soon be over The pools sixth and final “I earn to Swim” session for this summer will begin Monday August 6 Along with the beginners Starfish Tadpoles Minnows and Trout courses the pool will be offering an Advanced Beginner course at 10 am and a Beginswimming class ning Synchronized (water ballet like was swum in the 1984 am Olympics) at Several women have inquired about the reinstatement of “Ladies Hour” on Thursday nights The Ladies Hour was stopped for lack of interest but the pool will be glad to start "Ladies Hour” up again if more interest is shown If you are a lady pool's last Dive for Money and Prizes Day for this sumDive for Money and mer Therefore Prizes Day will be held the following Thursday August 15 at 2 pm A new class of Aqua Aerobics will be starting at the pool Monday July 29 at 8 am This beneficial class will be held on Monday Wesnesday and Fridays for six weeks with the cost being $2200 for the 18 classes of instruction This fee also includes the use of the pool Parents please remember that there is a rule at the pool which states that in order for a child to be able to swim at the West Millard Pool alone heshe must be at least six years of age of older If a child is under six heshe must be accompanied by a person 16 vears or older Undefeated Kanosh Kritters celebrate with barbecue The Kanosh Kritters Little League Team Baseball held a family barbecue to recognize their outof going standing accomplishment undeafeated for their second consecutive year Grills were set up for the families to cook the meat of their choice and potluck salads were furnished by the famiilies Watermelon and root beer were furnished by the two coaches Terry Higgs and Leonard Watts The Kritters ball team presented their coaches each with a gold belt buckle with this engraving "Thank You Coach 1985” The coaches presented to each player a Remington deer belt buckle and a trophy with their name and the team record engraved on it They also presented a trophy to Vicki Watts for being the Team Mother and to Anita Higgs for being the Scorekeeper The Kanosh Kritters wish to publicly thank their two coaches for the time they spent with them also Vicki
