Groesbeck 32 died Wednesday Dec S 1984 at Oneida Narrows Oneida Station Idaho as a result of an industrial accident He was bom Eugene Groesbeck February 26 1952 in Richfield Utah a son of Paul S and Beverly Davies Groesbeck He married Marcia Bulloch on August 31 1974 Their was solemnized in the marriage Manti LDS Temple Mr Groesbeck was the station foreman of the Oneida Plant At the time of his death he was in the Elders quorum presidency and had served as the president of the Young He attended Men’s Association college at Cedar City and enjoyed wood working and all outside sports activites He grew up in Richfield He is survived by his wife and four Nicholas children Jessie Lucas and Aaron all of Oneida Station his parents of Richfield four brothers D Michael sisters and four Groesbeck away in Phoenix Hazel Gronning formerly of Delta Utah and throughout the area passed away on November 22 1984 in Phoenix Arizona where she had been living the past two and years Surviving are sons Gerard and Sam and their wives and families totalling 20 grandchildren and 25 greatgrandchildren Hazel was born June 16 1896 in Thurber Utah Wayne County to Charles Donald Forsyth and Sarah Elizabeth Simmons On January 7 1920 she was married to Samuel Henry' Judd the father of her two sons After his death she married Peter Gronning on June 10 1929 Peter passes away May 21 1955 After that time she lived alone in Delta Utah until she moved to Phoenix in March 1982 Hazel taught school for several years and loved teaching all her life in her home in tutoring children remedial She also loved reading gardening flower arranging and wrote poetry She participated in genealogical research and for many years was a member of the Delta Second Ward Hazel’s greatest devotion was to her two sons and their families She will best be remembered for having been a She encouraged good good mother habits honesty and dependability She taught her sons to never quit learning Sam was educated at the Deaf School in Ogden and Gerard received a PhD in Chemistry from Purdue University At present Gerard teaches Chemistry at Phoenix College (Arizona) and Sam lives in Northridge California where he has been Bishop of the Deaf Ward there for the past five years Besides families Hazel was survived by a brother LaVon Forsyth and Mae Torgenson of Grover Utah 1985 employer Beginning January tax rates in Utah dividual employer have greater responsibility for controlling unemployment benefit costs and in determining furture unemployment tax rates Although the changeover will not occur until 1985 present personnel policies regarding the hiring and firing of employees will have a direct bearthe on unemployment taxes that an ing employer will have to pay in subsequent years the Foundation reports Here is Foundation checklist of ways in which an employer can minimize tax liabilities: future unemployment Accurately determine employment needs before hiring new employees Each new employee represents a potentax liability if the tial unemployment workforce later must be reduced 2 Consider overtime the use of temporary services and contracting for services to meet peak workload periods 3 Be expecially selective in employing new workers Hiring mistakes will be very costly under the new law 4 Provide adequate training and supervision for new employees Many hiring mistakes can be traced to the fact
