prowlers become quite vulnerable to criminal attack at night since these intruders can approach unseen in the shadows and work quietly even while an Darkness unwelcome occupant sleeps One way of discouraging these is to have undesirable visitors outside lighting your adequate house Lights in yards and above increase the chances entranceways intruder of a nighttime being Think like a thief If a observed neighbor’s home is weft lit and your home sits back in the shadows which residence would logically be IHolden Happenings by Cherryl Wood The community was saddened by the passing of Glen Now consider exterior lighting with a surprise factor If a prowler suddenly lost his cover of darkness due to outside being floodlights turned on think of the psychological effect Would a potential intruder casually approach a home to find out if someone had seen him or would he make a hasty retreat? What burglar wants to be seen or identified if he wants to stay in business? On the other hand floodlighting can be a comsafety factor for unexpected pany Many accidents occur from tripping over unseen objects in the dark or not noticing steps There is an automatic light switch designed for residential usage that can create this surprise condition One of these devices which is set for vehicles is currently on passing display at the Witch Doctor TV Repair in Meadow The unit turns itself off during daylight hours so see it you have to pass by as night to operate electronic It's a sophisticated “Eye” called LightWatch II This device utilizes infrared technology to detect the approach of persons or vehicles within its field of view The length of “on” time is adjustable It from 10 seconds to 20 minutes does not stay on aft night unless someone remains in the sensor’s pattern area The unit can be installed above doors windows alongside a garage in the back patio in a storage yard feed lot or the side of an equipment shed It’s even been used by store owners to light up display windows when anyone walks by Imagination is useful with this device County Commission adopts Fire Service District Resolution Those present at the meeting were Michael R Styler
