Besides being besieged with babysitting the kids going to the girls soccer game we have found three books missing Jay’s Journal once again has come up missing This will be the third time that I have had to replace this book that seems to disappear on a regular basis A patron was looking for The Complete Dog Book which is expensive last week The computer says that it is in but when you go to the shelf it isn't anywhere to be found The one that really gets me is the brand new Flower Pressing book The book has been on the shelf less than three months and it is missing in action! We just finished our fourth shipment Flevel of videos and Goes West was the top video with a resounding 16 checkouts with Phantom of the Opera coming in second with 14 checkouts and third was That Darn Cat with 13 checkouts The top mover and was a tie between shaker book The Andromeda Strain and Body In the Closet with 9 checkouts We had a three way tie for second place with Honor Among Thieves Gunslinger and Reva Blue During the last girls soccer game there was a chair left out on the side of the library I hope the owner comes to claim it soon I'm sure there is a big quandary as to where the chair could be Probably some kid is grounded or doing hard labor because it is missing (I wonder if kids get grounded anymore?) Story Hour is once again in full force Every Wednesday at 10:00 all the 3 4 & 5 year old children can come to the library for 45 minutes of reading singing coloring and creating Keep those pages turning! Marian Club to sponsor walk in Fillmore The Gadabout Volkssport Club from Provo Utah will sponsor a 5K or 10K walk in Fillmore on Oct 7 1995 Start point is at the rock school house at the stale park by the Territorial Capitol Building Registration is between 9:00 am and :00pm Our club is anxious to have any interested Millard County residents join us Volkswalks are and fun for the whole family Participants follow a marked course designed to feature some historically interesting homes or sites This event is sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association We will be offering a photo award to all who complete the walk and pay a fee of $300 IVV credit only is $2 or you may walk free!
