after attending his son’s Daryl Lee wedding in HousRoberts ton Texas He was born December 10 1906 at Lehi Utah to Frank and Amanda Schow Roberts The family moved to Delta in 1917 when his father was made Agricultural Superintendent for the new Sugar factory being built at that time He complete his education through high school in Delta attended USU at Logan where he obtained his degree in Civil Engineering He married Elda Ostler of Nephi on July 1939 He served during World War II in South Pacific area at a Lt in the unit of the US Navy After military service he worked on several engineering projects in the state of Utah after which he joined the US Bureau of Reclamation spending fifteen years as Regional Director for the state of Alaska with later assignments in the Philippines and Central America and further assignments in Washington 2 DC Roberts retired from the government service sixteen years ago and established his residence in Sun City Arizona He is survived by his wife son Kent S three Roberts Wenatchee Washington Glen Cortez Colorado Thayne Amarillo Texas Delta Beth Shepherd Montana Holman Two Billings brothers preceded him in death Emily S Pikyavit Emily S Pikyavit age 73 died July 27 in the Fillmore Hospital She was born July 15 1913 in Fillmore to Alex and Martha Sobquint She married Joseph Pikyavit October 1926 in Kanosh He died April 1974 She is survived by the following children: McKay Earl Shirley Louise Ralph Phil Madelan Frank Vida Also surviving are 52 and Floraine and 53 great grandchildren grandchildren Funeral services will be held
