prayer was by Earl Remington with Marlene Bliss playing prelude and music postlude Invocation was by Walter Ekins and Dale Bliss sang “Silver Haired Daddy of Mine” and When the Work’s All Done This Fall” accompanied by Marlene Bliss History was by Cluff Talbot and a medley of “Home on the the Me Not Lone on Range” “Bury Prairie” “Going Home” etc was played by Ruth Talbot Bishop Walter Manis spoke and Cluff Talbot sang “Empty Saddle” accompnied by Ruth Talbot Benediction was by Rodney Wright Fenton DeMill dedicated the grave Interment was in the Hinckley Cemetery Pallbearers were Eddie Oct 30 1940 later divorced He married Celeste Locke July 30 1965 later divorced He spent his boyhood years in the area He went to high Leamington school in Delta He moved to California in 1937 and worked for Bethleham Steel in San Francisco He retired in 1972 and moved back to Leamington and lived in the family home for about four years Then John moved to Post Falls Idaho where he had been living with his Beth daughter The last 2 years he had spent the winters with a sister and brother in California He was there when he passed away He belonged to the LDS Church He is survived by a son
