Lorraine Jeffery Rodger Killpack and Rod Staples To help the voting membership become better acquainted with the nominees each have a brief background accompanying this article Members are reminded to return their ballots prior to September 25 1986 they moved back to Utah where they have since resided While living in Provo he was able to finish his schooling and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with emphasis in financing At that time he went to work for First Security Bank and moved to Roosevelt During his stay in Roosevelt he was involved with their chamber of commerce Also he was volved in several community activities including some business promotions for local business people About 10 months ago First Security Bank transferred him to the Delta office as Assistant Manager He and his family enjoy living in Delta Mrs Fredrick is involved in volunteer work at the Delta North Elementary where their two children tend school Roy Roger Killpack was born and raised Delta He graduated from Delta High School in 1978 After serving a he mission to Germany tended the University of Utah College of Pharmacy where he graduated with honors in June or 1985 He is married to the former Bobbie Petersen of Hinckley and they arc the parents of one child Roger is currently employed at ice Drug where he manages the store with his father He is active in civic and church responsibilities and can always be found playing a little softball during the summer He greatly enjoys the Delta area and feels it has much to offer for himself and his family in Jim Fredrick was born in a small town in Southeastern Oregon called Burns from He attended and graduated Ricks College with an Associate Degree in accounting Mr Fredrick met his wife at BYU and were married in the Washington D C Temple Shortly after their marriage E tions He is currently a member of the Delta Rotary Club Secretary of the Millard County Housing Authority Board President elect of the Millard County Human Services Commission past member of the Fillmore Chamber of Commerce Board and current member of both the Fillmore and Delta Chambers of Commerce He is a former Bishop for the DS Church and has been active in the Scouting He is a supporter of the Organization Arts and has participated in numerous musical and theatrical productions He and is an accomplished pianist organist having performed as well as accompanied on numerous occasions He also enjoys athletics as both a participant and an official and has officiated high school and college basketball for 15 years He is married to the former Karen Zaugg of West Point Utah and they are the parents of two daughter Wendy and Stacie and two sons Jonathan and Chad SPS Ihurs 1986 Sept Barraclough K Barraclough Administrator Delta and Fillmore Community Medical Centers and the West Millard Care Center was born in Salt Lake while still a City Utah However young boy his family moved to Southern California where he spent the remainder of his youth After serving a mission for the LDS Church in Germany he graduated from Brigham Young University with a Masters AdministraDegree in International tion Upon completion of his schooling he spent a number of years in the industries and insurance banking before gravitating to health care He a second subsequently completed AdMasters Degree in Hospital ministration from the University of Minnesota and has been involved in health care administration of 14 plus years Prior to coming to Millard County he was the Administrator of a 70 bed hospital in Riverton Wyoming the Associate Administrator of a 250 bed hospital in El Paso Texas and the Assistant Administrator of a 370 His Utah bed hospital in Ogden assignment in Millard County has been to oversee the construction of replacement facilities for the hospitals in Fillmore and Delta and to develop a multtiered health care delivery system to insure maximum self sufficiency in primary care for the county He is a member of the American Hospital Association the Utah the American Hospital Association College of Health Care Executives the National Rural Health Care Associais for election to candidate a and tion September L Rod Staples Rod Staples was born in Richfield He married Cindy Davidson in 1980 They have three children and are expecting their fourth Mr Staples served a mission for the LDS Church in San Diego California He is presently serving as Ward Clerk for the Delta 7th Ward He presently is the manager of the Christensen’s Store in Department Delta Prior to opening the Delta store he was the manager of Christensen’s at Fillmore for five years He is an avid hunter and fisherman He and his family enjoy the small town quality of life Delta area offers Lorraine was born in Jeffery Eugene Oregon and attended local schools there She then attended BYU and graduated with a major in English and a minor in Psychology She is married to Art Jeffery a life long resident of Delta After graduating from college they New spent a year in Albuquerque Mexico where he worked for an accounting firm and she worked as a legal then they returned to Delta secretary Since that time Lorraine has served on the West Millard Cultural Council Board as well as serving in various church callings She is currently a member of the Delta High School PTA She and her husband are the parents of ten children and she has been involved in many of their activities of Renee's She is the ow in Delta and has been the clothing manager of three Ben Franklin stoics for ten years She has much invested in
