Why we have few In the January '86 issue of the Reader’s Digest there is an article by Mike Royko of the Chicago Tribune which we like It is called “Enough Already!” The writer berates the practice of knowing everything about it He everybody-apublishing decries the present trend of celebrities blabbing every detail of their lives to menanyone who will listen and also tions those spoiled offspiing who can’t wait to tell the world about their nasty Mommy or Daddy Royko says the reason everybody blabs is that there is a market for it My suggestion is to remove the market and let it die on the vine It is not pleasant to be called “a nation of Peeping Toms” There is so much more to life than that Adding one more area Mr Royko field of history pardidn’t touch-tticularly biography There is much deemphasizing the good and embroidering or creating negative qualities and situations to prove how human these pillars of society really were There are plenty of these books published all the time and several newspapers (?) devoted to such stuff We prefer to put out our money on more worthwhile literature See you in the Library Johnson completes now for training Register Robert Brunson
