travel on down to Kanosh to spend a few days with his parents Orville and Hope Kimball brother Monte sister Patti and families Steve and Tamara have 3 daughters and son of which they are very proud Their daughter Stephanie received a scholarship to Ricks College last year will attend there for another year then plans to enroll at BYU Her sister Mary Anne will graduate from high school this year and through her hard work and diligence received a 4 yr tuition paid scholarship to BYU She also received a 2nd scholarship which is transferable (anywhere) Being a straight A student she was chosen as the President of the National Honor Congratulations Society last year Mary Anne and Stephanie Kimball Josie Bird Miller celebrated 90 good years with three beautiful parties One was held in Palm Springs with the Toluca Lake Garden Club 20 friends joined in the celebration All arrived in Palm Springs by charted bus The cond party was held at l akeside Country Club in Toluca Lake by many friends and church members The last party was held at the new exclusive Wood Ranch Country Club in Simi Valley by her two sons John and Douglas Miller and wives Gene and Lynn Miller Three giandchildicn Jeff Doug Miller and Michelle Henson also attending were six great grandchildren and many friends Josie with many many was remembered of cards from hundreds beautiful friends We the Millers thank all for remembering Josie on her 90th birthbe Kanosh will to Josie returning day in to spend the summer and lend to gardening A large group of friends neighbors and lelatives from Kanosh were in tendance at the funeral services for Clyde Frank Harding on March 28 in Cedar city The funeral services for Clyde are printed elsewhere in the Chronicle Progress Those who attended remarked that they had never attended a larger service and where there were more flowers Mildred commented to Dathel that at least a thousand persons came through the line at the viewings which showed the high esteem held for this lovely family As Mildred and Frank were ready to proceed to the cemetery Stake President David Norton ran out to their car and handed them a poem saying "This is just like your son Clyde” Steele Prows having Faymetta passed away on the day of Clyde Hardings funeral services made these days and those following hard days for the Harding and Prows families As like Clyde’s services beautiful services were also held for Faymetta with many of the friends and relatives in attendance Among those coming for Faymetta’s funeral services besides her four grandchildren John Arlene Barbara and Dale (Mark attended in Rexburg but was unable to come to Kanosh) all 14 Broze and Beth great grandchildren Kenneth and Provo Hutchensen American Fork Wilma Hutchensen and two sons Danny and Raymond HenderAnderson Joy (Hutchensen) Shirleen NV son (Hutchensen) Salt Lake and Rex Hut- Kaskinet KANOSH Dathel Whitaker Fh and Whitaker Dathel enjoyed received lots of good helps from the 1986 seminar which was held at the Beehive Clothing Mills on March 27 and 28 in Salt Lake City for managers Several seminars will be and have been held in different localities Managers attending this one besides Dathel of the Fillmore Center were Arprilla D Scow Goble of Ncphi Colof Delta Erma leen Wright of Puyallup in Tacoma WA Beaulah Stratton Snowflake AZ and Carol F Green Ontario OR Dathel was delighted to have the prvilege of becoming acquainted with these lovely ladies and to attend a busy schedule of the seminar agenda from 8 a m to 5 pm each day with them She was thrilled also to meet in person most of the personnel of the Bee Hive Clothing Mills which she had talked with over the phone The managers received instructions from II members( of the personnel for the were provided Rooms at the Howard Johnson managers Motel A van was arranged for which them between the motel transported and the mills each day Besides attending the sessions of structions the managers were taken on a tour of the mills The mill in Hunter Utah makes all of the garments the mill in Salt Lake makes all of the garments besides and ceremonial commercial temple clothing items also temple officiator and children’s temple clothing items It’s a sight to behold to watch around 600 people busy at their job and producing between 12 and 19 thousand garments a day The finest technology possible is being used in these Bee Hive Clothing Mills They were shown all of the steps taken to manufacture these items from the knitting of the materials to the shipping center which included placing the patterns cutting sewing on many different kinds of machines labeling spection crew filling orders to be shipped and addressing boxes ready for shipment to different parts of the world The workers personnel and managers feel it a blessing to be involved in providing these sacred clothes The dinner served on Thursday night was held at the chuich office building on the 26th floor which gave those in attendance a beautiful view of Salt Lake City While Daihel was at the seminar her husband Willard did sessions at the Salt I ake Temple and was a guest of their son Bishop Ray Whitaker a serious accident received when a horse fell on him breaking a leg and causing other juries which necessitated taking him to Utah Valley Hospital where he spent a week but is at home now receiving good and tender care from the family Juanita Charlesworth will be spending some time in Kanosh with her Another Dathel Whitaker daughter daughter Carma Cutler brought her over from Elsinore where she had been for a few weeks They arrived on Friday April 4 to attend the Senior Citizen’s Easter Hat Parade party and dance They enjoyed the evening which included listening to the Meadow Misfit’s good
