Clem and I ora Utley arrived home March 12 in the snow and cold after spending a week in the sunny climes of Chinese food dinner Drew Labrum was chief chef and did a superb job Thank goodness we didn't have to use chopsticks! On Thurs evening Mar 13 the Relief Society celebrated the 144th birAn thday of their organization teresting program and delicious roast beef dinner served to the sisters and husbands made a lovely evening believe a more complete report can be found elsewhere in the paper Wells Brunson drove to Salt Lake City to check on his wife Audrey who is staying at the home of her sister Ada Swanson since leaving Utah Wells says she looks great and is feeling very well That is good news Not such good news is the report of Stan and lla Pearson being in an automobile accident while driving along the "death strip" near Nephi lla was in the hospital for a while but they are both back home now doing okay However it will be some time before la is her own vibrant self again Ann Vest appeared back in town after a 4'- month absence To get to a warmer climate she visited with family members including sisters Lucy Poston Ira Bunc and Alie Small covering the states of Texas Virginia Florida and North Carolina to name some of them Quite an extensive tour but a very pleasant one It’s good to see lights on in her home again Welcome back don’t have his name the Though former youth time missionary companion of Wilbur Rowley stopped bv for a reacquainting time together Can’t you just imagine the good time they had?
