wotk hard Successful students have the ability to pay attention They're able to tune out distractions and concentrate on their tasks So important is the skill of paying attention schools leach students listening skills Mot Successful students have the skills to understand most ideas they encounter and thev get help if they have trouble understanding Getting help often means asking questions Successful students are very often curious students Successful students can remember facts ideas and concepts In addition successful students do all these tilings in a relatively relaxed way Although supervised and helped build the new “head house” for the system However because of winter weather the project could not be completed during his term 1981 5 On Nov Junior was defeated as a by only one vote in that year’s mayoral election The next four years the water project was shelved but it was one of Junior's goals to finish the project and pledged himself to it upon his election that last Nov During Ins term as mayor citizens of Meadow never had to worry about snow clogged roads after a bad winter stoim Junior was there early in the mot mugs pushing the snow from the streets In the summer it was Junior who mowed the weeds alongside the city roads Never seeking a thank you or pay he did what needed to be done quietly Knowing that money needed to be saved wherever possible Junior made do with what equipment was available Many long houis were spent in his own shop repairing and rebuilding town equipment At the insistance of family and many friends he finally consented to run again for mayor in the past election time and won by a wide majority Junior Bond was a man known for Ins honesty and dedication to the people of Meadow and put the affairs of the town before his own As recalled by his bi other Terrill “I can’t think of hardly a family in Meadow whom Junior has not left his own work to go and help” Meadow Utah will surely feel the loss of a truly great man unselfish and loyal
