Two rockets launched A big Coyote Card thank you to the from Hansen representative Planetarium for the time speit with our youngsters New date set The Spelling Bee has been rescheduled to be held on Monday F ebruary 29 room at pm in the Vincent and Cory Carroll Advisor to the club is Lorelei Draper The club is planning a stamp show in May Benjamin Franklin Stamp Clubs are set up through the local post office If you are interested in joining contact Lorelei Draper at 1988 Rocket Launch Delta North receives visit from star cruiser On Wednesday Feb 10 1988 the staff and studentbody of Delta North Elementary were visited by Ms Ruth Lynch of the Hansen Planetarium in Salt Lake City Ms Lynch as an exceptional lecturer and we were delighted with her presentations on astronaut life and outer space W e especially enjoyed her actual robotics demonstrations It was fun to watch as Ms Lynch and “Scorbot" had a pretend gun fight The audience rolled with laughter as Scorbot drenched his programmer with a spray of water from his waier pistol but it wasn't so funny when he got even with the students in the audience who were 'aughing so heartily at him!
