Russell and Nancy twin toddlers were born Feb 24 1987 They have two older brothers Wayne Lenox and LeGrand H Parents are Preston and Alice Finlinson of Oak City Paternal grandmother is Mrs Marvin R Finlinson (Elva) of Oak City Maternal grandparents are Dr and Mrs Robert K Hedelius of Ephraim They will celebrate their 1st birthday with their grandmother Elva Finlinson who will celebrate her 70th birthday Feb 27 Vay and James A Bushnell Russell 50th Wedding Anniversary In celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary Vay and James Alton Bushnell were honored by their children at a private family luncheon at the Chuck a Rama in Salt Lake City on Sunday February 14 The luncheon was given in deep appreciation for all of the many sacrifices love and support their parents have given the family all these many years Vay was born in Draper Utah on June 9 1909 to Samuel and Elizabeth Smith She was raised in Roosevelt Utah James Alton was born in Beaver Utah on August 19 1908 to John D and Jane (Jennie) Bushnell He was raised most of his younger years in Meadow Utah The two met at a dance in Salt Lake City and they married a few months later in Fillmore Utah on February 14 1938 They made their home in Salt Lake City They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 24 1960 Vay has dedicated her time to the many demands of raising their children and the running of the household James Alton worked for more than thirty years for the Union Pacific Railroad retiring in 1973 He was aj volunteer at Saints Hospital in Salt Lake City for fourteen years with more than 2000 hours of service They are the parents of four children: Elizabeth Harmon Sandy Bushnell Utah Ross Fenton Missouri Darlene Prawitt Salt Lake Russell Bushnell Lake Salt City City They have seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild Peterson to marry Christensen Mr and Mrs Ken Peterson are pleased to announce the forthcoming Belinda marriage of their daughter Sue to Boyd Russell Christensen
