Thanksgiving a committee was formed and arranged a birthday party for Inez McNeil and Enid Bunker Luncheon was served to apartIt was a ment family members delightful affair Lillian Taylor read many together on a special day for a family get together November 26 we received an invitation from the Delta Third Ward youth under the direction of Pete Jackson to hold at the Delta Sands activity area at 4 pm Wed Dec 3 the decorating of a Christmas tree on the west patio Bishop and Mrs Rex Day were in tendance with the group The tree trimming was made by the youth and they are very attractive on the trees It was a beautiful sight to see the youth sing Christmas carols led by Lester Day Apartment members all received a small felt stocking with candy and scroll with the Christmas message from the youth and their leaders We were all introduced to each other and am sure there were 100 happy guests at the party Thanks to the Delta Third Ward youth for sharing joy with us for Christmas Drive past the Sands and see the tree aglow at night until Christmas Merry Christmas to the friends in the Delta Community and Happy New Year to all from the 30 families living in the Delta Sands Apartments Christmas dance There will be a Christmas dance sponsored by St John Bosco Catholic and the Holy Family Catholic Hispanic Communities of Delta and Fillmore on Sat Dec 20 at 7 pm at (he Deseret Country
